Bikes and Blues is...

A police escorted ride which begins and ends at the "World Famous" Iron Horse Saloon on US 1 in Ormond Beach. We travel south to 40, east to A1A, north along A1A (and the coast about 8 miles) to Highbridge Road. Highbridge Road then takes you into a whole other world with canopy lined roads that follows rivers and marshes through a protected State Park. This is known as the Ormond Loop.  After the ride I asked Mickey what he thought of it, he said, he thought it was one of the most beautiful rides he had ever been on. We had over 1000 bikes on this ride, I was told it took up to 45 minutes for us to pass some folks waiting to turn, it sure felt good knowing that we were all together for the same reason, riding for a cure.  Once back at the Iron Horse, Big Mike takes the stage to provide the Blues portion of the day playing his Biker Blues as only Big Mike can. We also have raffles and a auction with great prizes donated by local companies.
